Help Our Country Rise Again After the Devastating Flood
Our community has been severely affected by devastating floods brought by days of heavy rain and the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat). What was once a peaceful neighborhood became surrounded by floodwaters, leaving many families struggling to protect their homes, belongings, and loved ones.
For many families, the floodwaters destroyed or damaged homes, appliances, clothing, school supplies, important belongings, and sources of livelihood. Some residents were forced to leave their homes and seek temporary shelter in safer areas. Children, elderly residents, and families with limited resources have been among those who suffered the most.
Despite the hardship, our community continues to help one another. Neighbors share food, assist in cleaning flooded homes, and provide whatever support they can. But the needs are overwhelming, and many families simply do not have enough resources to recover on their own.
