My Dream of Studying in Australia: Help Me Break the Cycle of Poverty
My name is Arnelio Jr. Remegio, and I am reaching out from the Philippines
with a humble heart.

Growing up in a low-income household, life has always been a constant
financial struggle. My father works tirelessly as a janitor, earning just enough
to put basic food on our table. Despite his hard work and sacrifice, our family
has never had savings, and we live day to day, barely making ends meet.
Despite these hardships, I refused to let poverty limit my dreams. Through
determination and perseverance, I was recently blessed with a life-changing
opportunity: an official offer letter to study Social Work at the University of
Tasmania in Australia.

This opportunity is my family's only hope to break free from the cycle of
poverty. However, as much as I want to step into this new chapter, my reality
holds me back. We simply do not have the money for tuition fees, airfare,
health insurance, or living expenses. My father's earnings as a janitor cannot
cover these costs, and I have no family support or financial safety net to rely
on.

I am pleading for your kindness and generosity. Any amount you can donate-
no matter how small--will bring me one step closer to stepping onto the UTAS
campus, earning my degree, and eventually using my education to serve
communities in need.
